When Little Wang got out of the car, he pulled Song Tingshen over and quietly urged, “Dad, keep Mom company today. Mom works too hard.”

His persuasive reasoning was convincing. Every day, he only saw his mom working hard and how tired she was. He didn’t go to work with his dad. How would he know if his dad’s work was tiring? Seeing was believing. Anyways, Mom worked harder than Dad! That wasn’t up for debate!
After saying that, Little Wang slipped away to Father Ruan.
Mother Ruan had been very worried about her son-in-law. However, she felt that she wasn’t very knowledgeable. Her daughter couldn’t even help him. She would be able to help him even less. Fortunately, their family had a lot of savings. Even if he lost his company, she believed their family of three could still live a good life together.

Little Wang didn’t have any objections. He wholeheartedly wanted to give his mom a break. Besides, he liked staying over at his grandparents. He would happily stay here for a few extra days if he could.
After Father Ruan and Mother Ruan took Little Wang upstairs to their condo, Ruan Xia asked, “Do you have time today?”
Song Tingshen deliberately teased her by pretending to be very serious and deep when he answered, “We’ll have time in the future.”
Ruan Xia had mentally prepared herself a long time ago. And yet, she couldn’t stop her heart from sinking. She wasn’t worried about losing her current good life. She was confident that with her and Song Tingshen’s efforts, they would be able to live a happy simple life.
She was worried that Song Tingshen would suffer a psychological blow and be unable to recover. It was okay though. She had done a good job preparing. There would still be a while until Little Wang studied abroad. His marriage was even further ahead. If Song Tingshen couldn’t accept the loss of his company, she could give him most of her savings and support him to make a comeback. Even if the hard-earned capital was lost, it was okay. After all, he had earned that money.
In the end, she was worried about losing the current Song Tingshen. She hoped that he would always remain calm and confident.
